The 13th Annual All-Russian Open Conference on Actual Problems in Remote Sensing of Earth from Space. / November 19, 2015 /

The 13th Annual All-Russian Open Conference on Actual Problems in Remote Sensing of the Earth from Space ( http://smiswww.iki.rssi.ru/d33_conf/ ) (basic physics, methods and technologies monitoring of the environment and potentially hazardous phenomena and objects) will be held on 16-20 November 2015. The event promoters are RAS, RAS’s Space Council, ROSCOSMOS, and ROSHYDROMET; the organizer is Space Research Institute of RAS.

Following the tradition established last years, immediately after the Conference, on 20 November 2015, the plenary retreat on Russian Satellite System of Observations and Technologies: State-of-the-Art and Prospects will be held at NTs OMZ of JSC Russian Space Systems. Within the framework of the Conference, the reviews of the Russia’s Federal Space Program for 2006-2015 and 2016-2025, ground & space infrastructure state-of the-art (ETRIS DZZ, Bank of Basic Products etc.), and present and future space complexes of the Russian in-orbit remote sensing satellite constellation as well as the papers of the lead research and production agencies using the Russian remote sensing data and products to address thematic problems will be presented.

During the retreat, the Workshop on Thematic Processing of Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Data will be held and the technological capabilities of the Operator of Russian Space Remote Sensing Facilities will be demonstrated.
