Monitoring the flood situation in Russia. / April 7, 2010 /

During several years NTs OMZ is processed and put into practice the regular season monitoring technology for evaluation of flood situation in the rivers of the European part of Russia on the basis of remote sensing data. The most important regions are the Volga, as the rich upper North Dvina, Oka pool, etc.

Currently, the main sources of information are the data obtained as a result of the planned cycle of shooting from the Russian spacecraft Meteor-M »№ 1," Resource-DK ".

The first shooting the 2010 season held on the territory of Volgograd and Astrakhan regions.

NTs OMZ continues to monitor the flood situation in Russia.
