Members of Spot Image SA company visited NTsOMZ. / May 29, 2009 /

The meeting discussed cooperation NC OMZ and Spot Image SA for the reception and dissemination of commercial space imagery satellite program SPOT. The scheme allows direct reception of substantially reducing the cost of high-quality space-based information for Russian clients and to improve the performance of orders for the shooting.

The French SPOT satellite programs are distinguished by high productivity, and space images SPOT worldwide appreciated for the high geometric and radiometric characteristics, particularly indispensable in updating the mapping framework and the establishment of GIS applications. Adding SPOT satellites to the list of available in Russia today the world’s remote sensing program will help to solve challenges of space imagery for cartography in the country, forest and natural resources.
