The NTs OMZ Specialists Participated in the International Scientific and Technical Conference “From Imagery to Map: Digital Photogrammetric Technologies”. / October 2, 2012 /

The 12th International Scientific and Technical Conference „From Imagery to Map: Digital Photogrammetric Technologies“ was held from 22 to 28 September in Algarve, Portugal.

Over the past few years the conference became a notable event in the GIS market and was recognized worldwide. The conference provided a unique opportunity for making discussions, acquiring knowledge, and sharing experience in digital photogrammetric technologies and Earth remote sensing.
During the conference there were presented the papers and presentations on the up-to-date digital sensors, Earth remote sensing data available, digital photogrammetric systems and their applications to different areas of scientific and production activities, and integrated solutions in GIS technologies using remote sensing data.

Specialists from the Research Center for Earth Operative Monitoring presented the report „The RESURS-DK1 Imagery Application to Constructing of 3D Digital Terrain Model“. The report attracted a particular interest among the conferees and the number of its views during the live video broadcasting was the largest thereby receiving a special award.
