Prize Presentation Ceremony by European Scientific and Industrial Chamber. / December 13, 2012 /

For over ten years specialists from the NTs OMZ of JSC „Russian Space Systems“ have taken an active participation in international research projects in accordance with the EC Framework Programs FP6 and FP7. Over this period such projects as ERS-Services, GMES-Russia, GSE Forest Monitoring, IRIS, MONRUK, OSCSAR, ERUNET, and DAMOCLES have been implemented successfully within the framework of the GMES Program. At present, the projects MAIRES and ZAPAS are being realized in the context of FP7. The NTs OMZ international cooperation has been positively recognized by European Union.

On December 26, 2012 the Prize Presentation Ceremony was held by the European Scientific and Industrial Chamber at the Russian Academy of Sciences. The best representatives of the Russian science, education, business, branches of industry, and medicine received the Diploma di Merito and Gold medal for exceptional achievements for professional activity and contribution to international scientific relations in support of agreements between Russia and European Union.

Larissa I. Permitina, our colleague, Head of Sector which has been the person in charge of five of the stated European thematic projects, received an honorable award as the Russian outstanding scientist.
