On April 20 in NTs OMZ met with representatives of the Federal Space Agency of federal executive authorities on the use of remote sensing data and performance characteristics of applications for satellite imagery in 2010-2011.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Federal Space Agency — Head of automatic space complexes and systems management MV Novikov, head of the targeted application of space surveillance and information systems acceptance, VA Zaichko, Deputy Director of JSC "Russian Space Systems for Remote Sensing, VA Selin, Director General of SPC «Recodo» VG Bezborodov, as well as representatives of the Russian Federation.

He opened the meeting the head of the Russian Space Agency Mikhail Novikov. In his report, he spoke about the status and prospects of the Russian orbital constellation of remote sensing.

Report Valeriy Alexandrovich Zaichko was devoted to the existing regulatory framework, in order of receipt and use of satellite imagery, using domestic satellites remote sensing in the interests of the executive power of the Russian Federation.

Head of NTs OMZ Nina Novikova told representatives of the Russian Federation on the research center of its functions and features, but also highlighted the specific issues of use of satellite imagery and products of its processing in the interests of the executive power of the Russian Federation.

Deputy Head of NTs OMZ Shumeyko Viktor presented a report on the interaction with consumers of remote sensing data. Familiarized participants with the procedures for preparing applications for satellite imagery, and the provision of materials from the archive and organize the interaction of consumers with NTs OMZ on the implementation of contracts for survey and issuance of remote sensing data.

The report «Experience and prospects of space activities for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and its regions» made by Director General of SPC «Recodo» VG Bezborodov. He focused on issues of practical implementation of the results of space activities for development of regions.

His experience with the audience shared the representatives of the Republic of Kalmykia, Orenburg, Samara, Belgorod region, other regions.

Meeting continued its work on April 21. All participants were familiarized with the technology planning, receiving, processing and dissemination of remote sensing.
