About the flight tests of the Meteor-M satellite. / October 23, 2009 /

In the course of flight tests of the «Meteor-M» #1, NTs OMZ has received the first images from a multi-channel scanning device MSU-MR.
MSU-MR was designed for continuous monitoring of the underlying surface and cloud cover of Earth in a swath width 2800 km.

The regular receipt and processing of MSU-MR video data has carry on since October 23.
