Resurs-DK1 Satelite. 3 years on Earth orbit!. / June 16, 2009 /

The space complex «Resurs-DK1» drafted in the State Research and Production Rocket and Space Center «TSSKB Progress» in cooperation with other Russian enterprises. The direct targeting of the spacecraft exercise control center TsNIIMash and Research Center for the operational monitoring of the Earth.
Demand of imagery from the spacecraft «Resurs-DK1» growing from year to year. There are currently more than 50 organizations of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Environment, MOE and other agencies applied for the imaging the earth’s surface. Over 3 years to find the spacecraft «Resurs-DK1» Orbital surveyed more than 53 million square meters. km the Earth’s surface.

«Resurs-DK1», except for the performance of its immediate tasks, and works for the benefit of world science. With the use of this apparatus is implemented international research project which aims to search for antimatter in space, the study of solar physics and dark matter, as well as a number of other tasks. Magnetic Spectrometer «Pamela», mounted on board the spacecraft «Resurs-DK1», carried out precision measurements of high energy spectra of charged cosmic particles: antiproton, protons, light nuclei and the nuclei of the middle group of electrons and positrons.

«Resurs-DK» experiment was also the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (State University) — «Arina». His goal: a study of prognostic features open MEPhI seysmomagnitosfernogo events — high bursts of charged particles in near-Earth space seismic nature, serve as portents of earthquakes. According to research results of several international conferences, which have repeatedly confirmed that using the equipment «Pamela» and «Arina» We learned a lot about the past, present and future of our universe.
Talented Russian engineers and designers, created a modern hi-tech spacecraft. Since the flight test is constantly being improved possibilities: designers taught him to carry out filming routes located at an angle of 30 degrees from alignment with the spacecraft roll to 45 degrees, with tangazhnym slowdown. The goal is to continue experimenting with stereosemke and other regimes.

In the 2008-09 year entered the center and data processing of remote sensing of the Earth «Samara» and «Yerevan». Handbook of some other states have expressed willingness to join the system, remote sensing, based on a spacecraft «Resurs-DK1».
Summing up the results of 3 years of on-orbit spacecraft «Resurs-DK1», it can be argued that the experience of its development and exploitation not only propose a set of options for upgrading the space, staff and the target equipment in flight, but with the confidence to start creating space complexes Remote sensing of new generation.
