ROSCOSMOS Accession to International Charter on Space and Major Disasters. / August 30, 2013 /

The second day of the MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon in Zhukovsky was marked by a significant event for NTs OMZ, JSC Russian Space Systems. The NTs OMZ’s representatives took part in the solemn ceremony of signing the official documents of accession of ROSCOSMOS to the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Werner, Leader of German Space Agency – from the Charter Party, and Mr. Frolov, Deputy Administrator – from the Russian Party.
The leaders expressed their appreciation for the Charter activity and a significant role of NTs OMZ in its practical work on providing remote sensing data when emergencies.
