In JSC "Information Satellite Systems im.M.F.Reshetneva" successfully tested the spacecraft "AMOS-5"

To date, the specialists of JSC «ISS im.M.F.Reshetneva» a large volume of works on creation of telecommunications spacecraft (SC). He passed the test cycle on the mechanical impact, and held the disclosure of solar panels and antennas. Specialists of JSC «ISS im.M.F.Reshetneva» together with the French company Thales Alenia Space started to electrical testing of spacecraft «AMOS-5». This phase checks the functioning of the equipment platform and payload, mounted on the satellite.

The final stage of terrestrial experimental testing of the spacecraft will be the high-test, and then begin his preparation for shipment to the launch site.

Manufacture of spacecraft «AMOS-5» shall by order of Israeli satellite operator SPACE-COMMUNICATION LTD. Its launch in conjunction with a satellite-relay «Luch-5A» is scheduled for later this year.
