ASTRA-2E Satellite Injected into Intended Orbit

On 30 September at 10:50 Moscow Time, according to the flight program upon separation from the Breeze-M upper stage, the ASTRA-2E satellite was successfully injected into the intended orbit.
The Proton-M carrier rocket with Breeze-M upper stage (produced by Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center) and ASTRA-2E satellite was launched at 01:38 Moscow Time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome’s launch complex, Site 200. The live broadcasting of the satellite launch was by the Russia24 TV channel.
The ASTRA-2E will serve to deliver next generation broadcast, VSAT and broadband services in Europe and Middle East.
