Work continues at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. / September 6, 2011 /

On September 2 the Baikonur Cosmodrome aircraft An-124-100 «Ruslan» airline «Volga-Dnepr» delivered to the spacecraft (SC) «Intelsat-18». After completion of customs procedures, the container with the spacecraft and support equipment was loaded from the aircraft cargo bay on the shipping platform and transported to the site 31 space center, where it will go further preparation for the launch.

Today, representatives of foreign clients begin to prepare the spacecraft «Intelsat-18» which is scheduled for launch by the launch vehicle (LV) «Zenit-2SB» and the upper stage (RB) «DM-SLB».
Filling the booster «DM-SLB» propellants has been completed the night before. September 5 is scheduled to be transported on pl.31-40 for further testing.

In accordance with the schedule runs standalone preparations for the launch of spacecraft «Globalstar-2». Three spacecraft are already primed and fuel components are installed on the dispenser. At the present time continues filling the fourth spacecraft from the cluster of six spacecraft. Upper stage «Fregat», intended for launch into orbit and the last complete cycle of an autonomous training and the necessary checks are in the assembly and testing facility 31-40 in storage mode with constant control of temperature and pressure in the tanks with fuel components.

In the assembly and testing facility (MIC) sites 254 calculations RKK «Energy» spend the final operations of landing vehicle manned transport spacecraft (TLC) «Soyuz TMA-22», which successfully passed all the checks for leaks. Before assembly of the space head part and docking with the «Soyuz-FG» RIC «Soyuz TMA-22» will be put into storage mode.

In accordance with the schedule and is preparing the cargo transport spacecraft «Progress M-13M». To date, scheduled radio check-technical systems cargo transport ship.
