Baikonur getting ready for the next launching. / September 8, 2011 /

September 6 in the assembly and testing facility (MIC) sites 254 calculations RSC «Energia» completed all the verification work and testing of manned spacecraft (TLC) «Soyuz TMA-22». Today manned transport spacecraft will be transferred to the storage mode to start building the space head part and docking with the «Soyuz-FG».

Today, in the construction of 31-40 in accordance with the schedule of works by foreign experts began training delivered on the eve of an autonomous spacecraft (SC) «Intelsat-18».

Simultaneously, Russian specialists are preparing a gas station on pl.31-44 for refueling «Intelsat-18» propellants.

Launching of the «Intelsat-18» is scheduled to be launch vehicle (LV) «Zenit-2SB» and the upper stage (RB) «DM-SLB».

In accordance with the schedule runs standalone preparations for the launch of spacecraft «Globalstar-2». Three spacecraft are already primed and fuel components are installed on the dispenser in the assembly and testing facility (MIC) sites 112. Today will be installed on the fourth spacecraft dispenser «Globalstar-2» which ended with filling the night before.
