Another companion "Glonass-M" sent to the Baikonur Cosmodrome. / September 27, 2011 /

The spacecraft «Glonass-M» № 44, created in JSC «Information Satellite Systems» Academician MF Reshetnev ", September 26 delivered to Baikonur cosmodrome.

Navigation satellite «Glonass-M» № 44 scheduled to be launched in conjunction with spacecraft «Glonass-M» № 43, and «Glonass-M» № 45 in the fourth quarter of 2011, the carrier rocket «Proton-M» with the upper stage «Breeze-M».

Currently, with the spacecraft «Glonass-M» № 43 works on preparation for the launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Sputnik «Glonass-M» № 45, in storage at the JSC «ISS», will be sent to the Baikonur cosmodrome on October 3.

Spacecraft «Glonass-M» designed and built as part of the Federal Program «Global Navigation System». They are designed to provide the services of satellite navigation to an unlimited number of domestic and foreign consumers.
