EchoStar 21 Launch Decided to Postpone. / July 28, 2016 /

The ROSCOSMOS Launch Planning Commission has decided to postpone the launch of the Proton-M carrier rocket with the U.S. EchoStar 21 communication satellite. The preliminary new date of launch is October 2016. Earlier, the launch was scheduled for 29 August 2016.

EchoStar 21 is an automatic geostationary satellite manufactured by Space Systems/Loral. Its mission purpose is to provide communication services in Europe.
