"The Union of EGC": starting the campaign goes smoothly

At the Launch Complex (LC) «Union» specialists of enterprises and organizations, Federal Space Agency conducted transcripts comprehensive tests before taking, removal and verticalization of the launch vehicle, scheduled for October 14.

Feature of the SC is split three-stage transport (horizontal) and the ascent of the (vertical) with subsequent assembly ILV on the launcher using a mobile tower service.

At the launch facility is maintenance of gas detection and fire protection, purge gas communications, as well as coaching and training start-up calculation.

At the command post operation checks the security features.

The launch rocket «Soyuz-ST» is scheduled for October 20.
