Launched at Baikonur in preparation for another run of the program "Globalstar". / July 14, 2011 /

On the eve of the 31st site was successfully launched Baikonur launch vehicle «Soyuz-2.1a» with the upper stage «Fregat» and six-spacecraft communications, «Globalstar-2.»

Today at the launch site, work began within the next launch of the campaign «Globalstar»: carriage carried carrier rocket «Soyuz-2.1a» from the assembly-test facility site 2B in assembly and test building site 31 space center. At the conclusion of Transportation will begin unloading the cars block the launch vehicle and laying on their jobs. After the test cycle, the rocket will be collected in a bag and transferred to storage mode.

Delivery to the spaceport booster «Frigate» and satellites «Globalstar-2» for the upcoming launch scheduled for late August — early September.
