Proton-M with Inmarsat-5F2 Delivered to Launch Pad. / February 2, 2015 /

Today, following the State Commission decision, the Proton-M ILV with Breeze-M upper stage and Inmarsat-5 F2 communication satellite (UK) was rolled out to the launch complex.

The booster transportation from the technological fuelling station where Breeze-M low pressure tanks had been filled with propellant components, began at 3:30 MSK.

At the moment, Proton-M/Inmarsat-5 F2 have been delivered to the launch complex, Pad 200 of the cosmodrome, erected, installed into the launcher, and mated to the umbilical connections. The Russian Rocket & Space Industry launching teams started the first day countdown operations.

Proton-M/Breeze-M/Inmarsat-5 F2 is scheduled for launch on 1 February 2015 at 15:31 MSK.

This will be the first 2015 launch and the 402nd launch in the flight history of Proton-M.
