Representatives of the Russian Space Agency participated in the preparatory meeting for the construction of the cosmodrome "East". / July 28, 2011 /

July 28 in the closed «Uglegorsk» deputy head of Russian Federal Space Agency Alexander Lopatin and Deputy Director General of Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsENKI Vladimir Ivanov took part in the working visit of the Plenipotentiary Representative of President of the Russian Federation in the Far East Federal District VI Ishayev in the Amur region.

During the trip participants visited the site to accommodate the ground-based space infrastructure for future spaceport «East», as well as the objects taken from the Russian Defense Ministry.

In the closed «Uglegorsk» under the direction of Ishayev held a meeting at which reports on the progress of a rocket, design work and construction organization spaceport «East» were made by representatives of the Federal Space Agency AN Lopatin, and V. Ivanov, as well as representatives of the Federal Agency for Special construction and management of the area.
