Launch of Endeavour postponed sine die.. / May 3, 2011 /

The last shuttle launch «Endeavour» postponed sine die. On May 1 This is reported at NASA.

Originally launched «Endeavour» was appointed on April 19. Then it was postponed on April 29 due to the fact that April 27 was scheduled to start the Russian cargo spacecraft «Progress». April 29 NASA announced that the launch be postponed for at least another three days. Now, however, announced that the launch postponed indefinitely. This is due to malfunctions in the heating system.

Six members of the crew of the Endeavour used a delay to undergo additional training. Members of the families of astronauts who were going to carry them, went home.

Flight of Endeavour to the International Space Station should be the penultimate in the Thirty Years’ program run shuttles. In the summer of 2011 it is planned to launch the shuttle Atlantis, after which the program will be terminated.
