Launch Day for Soyuz-U/Progress M-07M at Baikonur. / September 8, 2010 /

Soyuz-U rocket is slated for launch today to loft cargo vehicle Progress M-07M. The lift-off from Baikonur’s pad 31 is to occur at 15:11 MSK. The Progress will fly towards the International Space Station to deliver about 2.5 t of cargo for the station and the crew in two days.
Prelaunch operations began today at 7 a.m. to prepare launch facilities and the LV.
At 11.15 State Board will meet to conclude about launch readiness upon the results of the tests performed on Sept. 6-7 and give its ‘go’ for rocket tanking. The tanking is scheduled for 11.40.
