Soyuz TMA-01M Launch Campaign Commenced. / August 11, 2010 /

Experts of RSC-Energia and TSENKI’s subsidiary Yuzhny Space Center commenced tests of the Soyuz TMA-01M crew vehicle today at Baikonur. The vehicle’s systems undergo autonomous electrical testing. The Soyuz arrived at the space port this weekend.
Soyuz TMA-01M is the first digital crew vehicle of a new series.
The Soyuz with the next ISS crew is to be launched aboard Soyuz-FG on October 8.
