Mission Discovery extended by one day.. / April 12, 2010 /

The mission of the shuttle Discovery, which docked on April 7 to the International Space Station, extended for a day, reports Agence France-Presse.

Now return the space shuttle is expected on April 19 at 12:54 Greenwich Time (16:54 Moscow time). Additional time is needed to examine the lining of the spacecraft.

Recall, «Discovery» was launched to the ISS on Monday. Soon after launch it became clear that the shuttle is damaged antenna centimeter. Its functions will be another dish, the report indicates NASA.

Discovery delivered to the ISS a large number of goods, including fitness equipment, sleeping place for the inhabitants of the station, experimental equipment. Scheduled three spacewalks, the second of which will be held on Sunday.
