An American satellite has launched from Baikonur.. / July 12, 2010 /

Rocket Proton-M, which delivering to orbit an American communications satellite EchoStar-15 launched from Baikonur.

The launch took place at 22:40 on Saturday, July 10. Branch of the satellite from the booster is scheduled for 7:53 on July 11, adds «Interfax».

Apparatus EchoStar-15 is developed by Space Systems Loral to order satellite operator EchoStar. The satellite will broadcast for the American television company DISH Network, serving 14 million American viewers. The service life of the satellite is 15 years.

Start July 10 became the seventh for Proton in 2010, and 358-m for all time launches of this missile, said RIA Novosti.
