ISS RS Crew Will Spend about 6 Hours in Outer Space. / January 14, 2010 /

Today, on Jan. 14, Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Maxim Suratev will carry out operations in the outer space.
EVA major objectives cover: laying harness between Poisk and Zvezda modules, installation of the docking targets, Kurs antennae and additional handrails in the EVA hatch zone on the Poisk surface, as well as dismounting Biorisk-MSN container from the Pirs module surface.
Biorisk is awaited by the scientists on the ground. The container is to be returned in spring. The scientist will check the status of bio-objects spent about 30 months in outer space to define which of them can be flown in Phobos in Russian spacecraft Phobos-Grunt.
Exit hatchway is open at 13:10 Moscow time (10:10 GMT). Korov and Suraev will spend about 5 h 40 min in the outer space.
