The "Endeavor" astronauts has began the final spacewalk.

The astronauts docked to the International Space Station, Space Shuttle Endeavor, Robert Behnken and Nicholas Patrick began the third and final spacewalk. This was reported at NASA.

Output started at 21.15 EST (05.15 Moscow time) and will last 6.5 hours. In the course of its astronauts will connect data cables and power supply between the heaters, pressurized adapter PMA-3 and the hub module Tranquility ( «Calm"), installed on the ISS on 12 February. Astronauts also plan to install the new module, handrails and working points, as well as pave the cable converter for video capture node of the manipulator.

In addition, R. Benken, N. Patrick will remove insulation from seven windows and locks with a special review of the dome shutter, which enables astronauts to observe the work of the ISS manipulator without external cameras and make an unprecedented scale, and colorful images of the Earth.

Shuttle „Endeavor“, was launched on February 8 from Cape Canaveral in Florida and on February 10 docked to the ISS. The astronauts had already implemented 2 successful exit into space, during which they are ready to install the new module, as well as attached ammonia pipeline system of its external thermoregulation.

In the shuttle crew included spacecraft commander, George Castle, the pilot Terry Verts and mission specialist Catherine Ha’eri, Stephen Robinson, Nicholas Patrick and Robert Behnken.

Watch on the station has a crew of 22-th main mission of the commander of American Jeffrey Williams and four flight engineers: Russians Maxim Suraeva and Oleg Kotov, Japanese Soichi Noguchi and American Timothy Creamer.

Undocking of the ship „Endeavor“ from the ISS is scheduled for February 19 and return the spacecraft to Earth — on February 21.
