Japan successfully launched into space research probe «Akatsuki», which means «Dawn» and a unique space yacht «Icarus». Start the expedition to Venus because of bad weather had to be postponed for three days.

To fly the probe will be about six months. At the orbit of Venus «Dawn» will be released in December, and two years will examine the planet. The purpose of the mission — to study in detail the atmosphere of Venus and reveal the riddle of unprecedented force winds. They reach a speed of 100 kilometers per second. Because of the poisonous clouds of sulfuric acid to see the surface of Venus in normal conditions is impossible. But the Japanese unit has a powerful camera, which work in a variety of bands — from infrared to ultraviolet.

«Icarus» by its shape resembles a kite. It is equipped with a giant sail-membrane, which will capture solar radiation pressure, transmits television channel «Russia 24».
