Astronauts prepare for a space walk.. / July 23, 2010 /

Directly on the outer surface of the ISS will operate Russian cosmonauts Fyodor Yurchikhin and Mikhail Kornienko.

The main objectives of this output is to replace the camera on the equipment bay of the Service Module Zvezda, laying and connecting cables between the module «Dawn» and modules Zvezda and Zarya.

The opening of the exit hatch is scheduled for 7 hours 45 minutes Moscow time (03:45 GMT). The planned duration of stay and Yurchikhin Kornienko in open space — about six hours.
