The last analog "Progress" sank in the Pacific Ocean.

The Progress M-67 " sank in the Pacific Ocean — the last space vehicle with the analog control system. The Mission Control Center reported.

The wreckage of the ship, that not burned in the atmosphere, have fallen away from shipping lanes, about three thousand miles east of Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.

September 21 vehicle undocked from the ISS and went to the autonomous flight, during which he took part in the experiment «Plasma-Progress». In this experiment studied the characteristics of plasma clouds, emerging around the comic device with its engines to low-Earth orbit.

At the ISS Progress lifted expensive equipment docking «Course». On board the ship loaded the accumulated debris at the station and end-of-life equipment.

Instead of analog Progress vehicles in the old series will be used trucks with a digital control system — more reliable and spacious. Two of these ships have been sent into orbit. The first of them delivered the cargo to the ISS in November last year.
