Space Shuttle Atlantis returned to Earth.. / November 30, 2009 /

«Atlantis» went to the ISS on Nov. 16, 2009. During the time spent in orbit, astronauts conducted three EVAs. The crew installed two large platform with spare parts outside the space complex. On the platform was located about 15 tons of materials to be used when the shuttles will stop their work.

The second exit into open space was for the American space jubilee — 230-meters in a row. In addition, one of the astronauts, Randolph Bresnika, during a mission on the earth’s wife gave birth to a daughter.

Among the seven people who returned to the shuttle, American Nicole Stott, who has spent nearly 90 days in orbit. It was the last member of the ISS crew, transported by U.S. shuttles. After 2010 people
