Proton-M Assembly Begins at Baikonur. / July 10, 2009 /

This morning space industrial expers began assembly of the Proton-M first stage (side units are integrated with the central unit) at site 92А-50, Baikonur. Units of the rocket`s second stage are unloaded from the carriage in parallel.
Proton-M with the Breeze-M upper stage is planned to orbit telecommunications spacecraft AsiaSat-5 in August 2009.
