July 10, in accordance with the spacecraft flight cyclogram «Sirius-5» was separated from the upper stage «Breeze-M» and adopted by the management of the customer.

Telecommunications spacecraft «Sirius-5» is intended to provide a full range of telecommunications services across Europe, the Baltic States and Africa.

The day before, on July 9 at 22.38 GMT from the Baikonur area 81 crew of space-roket indasrty made ​​a successful launch of the «Proton-M» space rocket with the «Briz-M» upper block and the «Sirius-5» telecommunications spacecraft.

At the estimated time of the head unit of the «Briz-M» and SC «Sirius-5» was separated from the third stage of the launch vehicle. After separation of an upper block continued removal of the target spacecraft into orbit. All five inclusions propulsion upper stage took place as usual.

Start July 9 was the sixth launch of a space rocket (ILV) «Proton-M», implemented in the current year.
