At Baikonur completes assembly of the head part for " Zenit " launch vehicle .. / November 19, 2009 /

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, continues work for preparation for the launch of Zenit-2SB launch vehicle with the"DM-SLB" booster and American telecommunications spacecraft «Intelsat-15».

Today in the assembly and test building site 31 cosmodrome final day of the warhead assembly space — on satellite Intelsat-15 and transition module will be installed heat shield.

Upon completion of installation work will take place assembly scheme for checking the electrical connections for space warhead.

Upon completion of inspections, specialists will begin preparations for the Baikonur space transport the warhead to the Baikonur pad 42 for the general assembly of launch vehicle.

At the launch vehicle Zenit-2SB ", located in the assembly and test building site 42 cosmodrome today will bear the logos of enterprises — the owners of the spacecraft, the launch provider and manufacturers of space technology.
Start space rocket Zenit-2SB «with the upper stage» DM-SLB, and the American telecommunications spacecraft Intelsat-15 "is scheduled for late November 2009.
