Preparations for launch of Proton-M carrier rocket with Sirius FM-6 satellite are on schedule. / October 21, 2013 /

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the final operations for preparation of the Proton-M carrier rocket to be transported to the fueling area to load the Breeze-M upper stage with propellants began.
The day before in Spacecraft Processing Facility 92А-50, the upper composite was assembled and the payload fairing was installed on the spacecraft attached with the upper stage by the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center’s specialists in concert with the representatives of the foreign customer.
The preparations for the launch of Proton-M with Sirius FM-6 built by Space Systems/Loral to the order of the SIRIUS Radio satellite communication operator are currently in full swing.
The launch is scheduled for 20 October.
