General Assembly of Soyuz-2.1b Completes at Baikonur. / December 23, 2014 /

The flight preparation of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with the Russian Resurs-P2 remote sensing satellite is still in progress at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. All the works are in compliance with the schedule.

On 23 December in assembly & test building, Pad 31, the general assembly of Soyuz-2.1b and the upper composite with Resurs-P2 inside was carried out by specialists of the Rocket and Space Industry.

The launch complex, Pad 31 is being prepared for receiving the carrier rocket.

Resurs-P2 is scheduled for launch on 26 December 2014 at 21:55 Moscow Time.
