First digital "Soyuz" joining to the ISS.. / October 11, 2010 /

The spaceship «Soyuz» joining to the International space station, informs ITAR-TASS referring to Control center of flights.

Joining has passed in an automatic mode on October, 10th at 04:01 Moscow time, representatives CCF have informed. It is planned that nearby 07:00 cosmonauts Alexander Kaleri, Oleg Skripochka and astronaut NASA Scott Kelly will open hatches and will pass from «Soyuz» aboard the ISS.

«Soyuz TMA-M» — the first Russian piloted spaceship with a digital control system. The Carrier rocket which has delivered digital «Soyuz» into an orbit, started from the cosmodrome Baikonur early in the morning on October, 8th.

To Alexander Kaleri, Oleg Skripochke and Scott Kelly, arrived on the ISS onboard «Soyuz TMA-M», it is necessary to spend at station of 159 days. Three extravehicular activity is included in the program of work of expedition and about 40 research experiments.
