Flight tests of the space observatory "Spektr-R". / September 2, 2011 /

In the NPO. Lavochkin Association experts continue flight tests of space radio telescope (MCT) «Spektr-R», successfully running on the target orbit from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 18.

During the week, a series of operations for the correction of software onboard control complex (SCU) of the spacecraft, «Spektr-R», the choice of optimal control transmitting means CMT, and was successful inclusion of a set of hydrogen on-board frequency standard (BVSCH) used to synchronize with ground-based, verification of the SCU, evaluation and dynamic diagrams CRT calibration of gyroscopic measuring the angular velocity (GIVUS) through the SC turns on different axes.

Successfully completed test operation of the contingency channel orientation of solar panels.

In order to optimize the temperature regime of scientific equipment made the correction of beam antenna.

With the passage of the pericentre were contacted SC «Spektr-R» with the ground tracking stations in Pushchino.

All systems of the spacecraft operate normally, contact with the ground complex is carried out regularly.
