The Soyuz-FG space rocket with the Soyuz TMA-06M manned spaceship is mounted on a launch pad. / October 23, 2012 /

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome there is being prepared for launch the Soyuz-FG space rocket with the Soyuz TMA-06M manned spaceship.

According to the State Commission, on 21 October 05:30 Moscow Time, the Soyuz-FG rocket with Soyuz TMA-06M spaceship was transported from assembly-and-test building 40, launch pad 31. Then it was delivered to the launching complex of pad 31 where was erected on a launch system by the space industry specialists. At present the operations under the first launch day program are in progress in the launching complex of pad 31.

The Soyuz TMA-06M is scheduled for launch to the International Space System on 23 October with long-duration crew 33/34 comprising of ROSKOSMOS Oleg Novitskiy, Evgeny Tarelkin and NASA astronaut Kevin Ford.
