Delivered to Baikonur Spacecraft "Viasat-1» («ViaSat-1"). / September 16, 2011 /

Transport aircraft from spacecraft (SC) «Viasat-1» («ViaSat-1») and ground technological equipment on board landed at the airport in September 15th Anniversary Baikonur.

Upon completion of customs procedures and unloading of containers, cargo will be delivered in the assembly and testing facility (MIK-92-A50) to set the vehicle in «clean room» designed for operations with a payload.

Specialists of the manufacturer, who will carry out the necessary checks and testing apparatus, arrived at the launch site the day before.

Spacecraft ViaSat-1, which is scheduled to be put into orbit by the launcher «Proton», should provide high-bandwidth information to Ka-band users in North America.
