Analysis of the characteristics of a powerful earthquake in Pakistan.. / January 20, 2011 /

The January 2011 marked by intensification of seismic processes on Earth. January 1-2, there was an earthquake (EQ) in Argentina and Chile, with magnitudes M7, 0 and 7.1, 12-13.1 — by Fr. Loyalty and the Bonin M7, 0 and 6,5. But the most powerful GP was on th / s Pakistan with 18.1 M7.2.

Analysis of signs up and running this event is dedicated to the message. Analyses based on the developed concept seysmotektogeneza, according to which defined the characteristics of the offensive potential of powerful EQ, as well as their possible options — the date, place and magnitude.

Geophysical features of the January seismic events are presented in Appendix 1. The coincidence of dates 12-14 January anomalies in 5 classes of signs point to the preparation of a powerful ST. Localization of sites of possible ST was carried out on a cloudy seysmoindikatoram (Annex 2). Most informative were the OS (B) over morphostructural zone pairing 3 plates — Indian, Australian and Somali. The lifetime of the OS (B) ~ 24 hours, which also indicates that the preparation of a powerful EQ to frame one of the plates. In accordance with the established methodology was reconstructed stress-strain state along the boundaries of these plates and identified the most critical areas. One of them was the north-western part of the Indian plate. Here was discovered the OS (A) length of 1300 km, for which we calculated the magnitude M = ln1300 ~ 7,2, which coincided with the magnitude of the real event. Possible date of event 20, or 27.1 ± 2 days. was calculated Seismomagnetic meridian of geomagnetic disturbance 01.06.2011. Real ST occurred in 01/18 settlement zone radius of 770 km (Annex 3). Thus, the actual event corresponded to the calculated parameters within the allowable precision of the "Method forecast parameters ST.
