Will there be an earthquake in Ukraine?.. / August 20, 2010 /

With an enviable constancy in the Ukrainian media appears shocking information about the threat of Ukraine’s devastating earthquake. Last Scarecrow refers to March 2010. Director of the Romanian Institute of Geophysics, Gheorghe Mermuryanu said about the possibility of a catastrophic earthquake in Vrancea area March 17-19 with no less dire consequences for Ukraine and neighboring states. On the real threat may be judged by seismic hazard maps developed by the Institute of Geophysics, NAS of Ukraine (Annex 1). Vrancea area reminded him of his dire consequences in 1940, 1977, 1986 and 1990. In 1977. from the underground elements in Bucharest, which killed more than 15 thousand inhabitants. The responses of these seismic events were felt in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Quite unexpectedly, working on the Mediterranean zone, experts NTs OMZ found angulate cloud structure near the zone of Vrancea (Annex 2). In addition, two seismomagnetic meridian formed after the geomagnetic storm of 3-4 August, may start a powerful earthquake in the said zone Vrancea, or the Black Sea area, including the Crimea and Turkey. Incidentally, note: the same seismomagnetic meridians can start an earthquake in Northern California. 17.08.2010 There have also been observed OS (Annex 3).

Not in our rules to run regular scares. Detection of signs addressed first and foremost specialists of the Institute of Geophysics, NAS of Ukraine and Romania. They should promptly conduct a comprehensive analysis of the geophysical conditions in the zone of Vrancea and the Black Sea and to issue appropriate recommendations to certain public entities.

We have received for genetic information will be good and useful in conducting a situation analysis
