Surge of seismic activity. / December 22, 2010 /

Current Week marked a sharp surge of seismic activity. 20 December w / in Iran there was a strong earthquake of magnitude M6, 5. December 21 in the area of the Bonin Islands (Japan) occurred more powerful event with a magnitude of M7, 4. Such a development situation, a joint group of experts from the Centre, «forecast» TSU School Kosmometeotektonika and NTs OMZ anticipate another 4-5 December, when the gravity stations was registered significant anomalies associated with the polarization processes in the Earth. It correlated with the proton, and telluric georotatsionnymi abnormal signs indicating the preparation of a powerful ZMT (Appendix 1).

Starting Bonninskogo ZMT occurred after the geomagnetic disturbance 27.11 with longitude at the equator -25/155 degrees Seismomagnetic meridian at 22 days ± 2 days. Testing of the meridian (the set of geomagnetic flux tubes) evidencing the ZMT the Sandwich Islands 8.12-M6, 5 and on. Papua New Guinea 12.13-M6, 2. It should be noted Boninskomu ZMT 30.11.2010 preceded by a profound event with M6.8 in the zone of the Izu-Boninskogo gutter. Award-Seismomagnetic situation is presented in Appendix 2.

In the graphs gravity system SHGM-3, Tula State University on Dec. 21 is fixed regular VLF-LF anomaly, indicating a strong training ZMT. One of the potential zones ZMT may be the Mediterranean, particularly Italy. Forecast of seismic hazard in this zone is extended until January 5, REF 2011. Other potentially seismic dangerous zones are on the site nadisa.org.
