Powerful earthquake in Myanmar.. / March 25, 2011 /

To the death and destruction led a powerful earthquake in Myanmar (Burma) at March 24, 2011 Its magnitude was 6.8.

In a message dated March 2, Annex 1.2 composites were exposed to the cloud seismotectonic indicator signaled the preparation of a powerful earthquake in Sumatrano-Javanese zone. March 11 forecast was extended until March 31 with the addition of the potential areas P2 South-East Asia (Annex 1). Possible dates of earthquakes 24 and 31 March ± 2 days. were calculated for the meridian Seismomagnetic dated March 10, with the longitude at the equator 80/-100 degrees. The potential magnitude of events calculated by the cloud indicator (A): M = ln950 ~ 6,9.

The actual event got into a zone of P2, its magnitude and the date practically coincided with the calculated ones. It should be added on March 21 along the north-western and eastern sections of the Indian plate observed cloud seismotectonic indicators (Annex 2), confirming the possibility of a powerful earthquake, which happened March 24, 2011.

There remains the threat of a powerful earthquake in the Sumatra-Andaman region, north-west of the Indian plate, south of Iran.
