Atmospheric trace of Kyrgyz explosion. / December 25, 2009 /

December 22, 2009 in Kyrgyzstan on the construction of the dam was made powerful chemical explosion. Used 2.8 tons of explosives. Power explosion was 2.5 kilotons of TNT equivalent.

A unique opportunity to explore the responses of the explosion in geoobolochkah. The last time such an experiment «Mass» was held on 28.11.1981 for scientific purposes, with a charge of 260 tons of TNT. The experimental results were published in a special issue of the journal «Physics of the Earth», 1985, № 11.

In Kyrgyz explosion was interesting to investigate the atmospheric reactions, in particular, the cloud of seismo-tectonic indicators (Annex 1). On the satellite imagery with «Aqua», «Terra», «Meteor-M" (Annex 2, 3) indicators such clouds were detected and analyzed.

Ionospheric E-response study involving data SC „Demeter“ radiotrass and ground facilities.
