About the situation on the Taiwan and the implementation of the forecast.. / February 26, 2010 /

The forecast for Taiwan wich has developed by a group of Russian experts still working. On the interval of seysmic forecast prolongation until 26 February in the Taiwan-Okinawa area there were two earthquakes with a magnitude M5.5 22 and 26 February (Annex 1, Block 6). Taiwan seismic service gives the magnitude of seismic surface waves, respectively, for ML = 6.0 and 5.7.
Cloud seysmoindikatory marked by the events presented in block 1.5 of Annex 1.

Specialists of NTs OMZ, the Center «forecast» (Tula) and the school «Kosmometeotektonika» (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) continue to monitor and evaluate the geophysical situation in the Taiwan-Okinawa area. Analysis of the orientation of the seismic process on the basis of izoseysmichnosti Chandler pole trajectory allowed to choose as an analogue of seismic events in December 2006. Then on Dec. 26 occurred at intervals of 8 minutes, two powerful events M7.1/6.9.

February 26, 2010 at the facilities of the Center «forecast» was registered on the anomalous signal in the Taiwan area. It is usually preceded by abnormalities in Chandler trajectory of the pole, telluric and proton measurements.

From the combination of geophysical factors forecast extended for another 14 days before March 12, 2010 with the same parameters.
