Are Frogs saving Greece?

Hundreds of frogs, 26 May 2010 paralyzed road traffic on one of the highways near the city of Thessaloniki. A similar situation was before the devastating earthquake in Sichuan (May 2008) and L’Aquila (April 2009).

Since May 20, 2010 the geophysical situation in the Mediterranean is monitoring by specialists and experts in a joint group of RC EOM, the Tula State University Center «Forecast» and the Distant School CosmoMeteoTectonic. Some results are presented on the composites Annexes 1 and 2.

Attention is drawn to the tellurics anomaly 20.05.2010 at Pyrgos station (Annex 1, bl. 3) to the a powerful high-frequency anomaly registred by Tula gravity stations on 26.05.2010 and, of course, to the reaction of frogs 26.05.2010.

Cloud seismotectonic indicator (A) on space images of the Terra satellites of 23.05.2010 gives the potential magnitude of M6.9.

Retrospective analysis gave similar indicators before the earthquake in Greece on June 8, 2008 (see posts on the site RC EOM site date by 9.06.2008 and 25.06.2008).

Possible date of event is estimateed as before June 15. The most probable dates are June 1, 5, and 12 ± 2 days.
