Cloud seismotectonic indicators over Japan.. / June 30, 2010 /

Analysis of global geophysical conditions and localization of potential seysmic zones by cloud indications point to Japan. Cloud seismotectonic indicators were detected by specialists NTs OMZ June 28-29 on MTSAT images. Some of them are represented on the composite in Annex 1. Particularly impressive arched structure (B) and angled structure (C) Framing unit. Something similar has been observed over the seismotectonic zones of Japan. As an example, topically treated with image by Meteor-3M № 1, received 19.09.2003 for 6 days before the earthquake at Hokkaido with a magnitude of 8.3 (Annex 2).

Also troubling structure (D) along the Okinawa microplate and further west along the fault on. Taiwan. This indicator may also indicate a possible strong earthquake in the Okinawa-Taiwan area.

Specialists of the Center together with colleagues from the «Forecast» Tula Center and «CosmoMeteoTectonic» school continue to monitor and analyze the characteristics in Japan and Taiwan area.
