The threat of a powerful earthquake. / February 16, 2011 /Analysis of cloud seismotectonic indicators detected on satellite imagery over the Australia coastal zone may signal the approaching of a powerful earthquake (EQ) (Annex 1). Reconstruction of the stress field along the boundary of the Australian plate and occurred EQs allowed to determine the most critical areas in the regions of Sumatra, Andaman islands and at the southeast of the Australian plate. Forecast time interval is before March 1, 2011. Corresponding seismomagnetic EQ start-up meridians are shown at the block 5 of the composite (Annex 1). Geomagnetic storm which may burst out in the nearest future as a result of powerful solar flare phenomena of February 13-16, apparently, will accelerate the pradicted seismic events. Remember, in accordance to our previous forecast (message from 02/09/2011) EQ is also possible in the Central America. Mentioned events are related by the start-up meridian has repeatedly confirmed by our seismic forecasting experiments (message from 08/06/2009 and 08/11/2009)
