At Baikonur Preparation for Manned Space Program Begins

At Baikonur Cosmodrome, an active pre-launch work under the Manned Space Program 2014 began.
In assembly & test building, Site 254, the technicians of the Russian rocket industry started the depreservation of Soyuz TMA-12M and Progress M-22M. Last Sunday, the depreservation of the Progress M-22M transport cargo spacecraft was completed and this morning a check-up of its electric systems began.
Also today, the experts of the Korolev Rocket Space Corporation Energia and the Yuzhny Space Center, FSUE TsENKI division, commenced the depreservation of the Soyuz TMA-12M manned transport spacecraft.
The upcoming launches within the framework of the Manned Space Program are scheduled for February 5 (Progress M-22M) and March 26 (Soyuz TMA-12M).
