Offering remote sensing data NTs OMZ is offering remote sensing data of different spatial resolution from Russian spacecraft — RESURS-DK, MONITOR-E, METEOR-3M №1, METEOR-M, ELEKTRO-L, RESURS-O1, OKEAN-O, and from foreign spacecraft — QUICKBIRD, IKONOS, EROS, SPOT, IRS, LANDSAT, RADARSAT, TERRA (MODIS, ASTER radiometers), NOAA (AVHRR radiometer), ERS as well as services on data thematic processing and value-added product generation in accordance with consumer’s requirements. The lines of the NTS OMZ’s activities are as follows:
Operation of space systems, satellite data acquisition, processing and delivering to consumers;
Generation and maintenance of space data archive and E-catalogue;
Development of monitoring techniques and monitoring of spacecraft instrument payload information characteristics and data quality;
In-flight tests of scientific and information measuring instrument packages on board operational Earth observing spacecraft;
Advancement and upgrade of ground facilities and technologies for space data receiving, processing, archiving, and distributing;
Development of scientific and applied projects including international ones, on the Earth’s resources study, ecological monitoring, the World Ocean research, and establishing regional and territorial information systems using space data.
NTs OMZ continues to monitor the he earthquakes consequences in the Republic of Haiti, which took place January 12 to 16 hours 53 minutes of local time.
January 15, 2010 were received images from the «Resurs-DK» spacecraft of the Republic of Haiti in wich are visible effects of the earthquake that occurred on January 12 to 16 hours and 53 minutes of local time.
Catastrophic earthquake with numerous victims and destruction occurred on Feb. 27, 2010 in Chile. A day earlier, shook the western border of the Pacific seismic belt of strong seismic event in Okinawa. Was the prediction of the Chilean earthquake, were observed for signs?

Preparation for next launch of „Proton-M“ with „Briz-M“ upper-stage continues on Baikonur. This launch must put into orbit an American telecom satellite „Echostar-14“.
Proton-M/DM launch vehicle lifted off successfully today (00.19-GMT +3) from Baikonur spaceport with 3 spacecrafts proposed for Russian Global Navigation System.
